Our carpe diem was in full swing this morning, and we made it to the beach on Sullivan’s Island around 8:30 a.m.—though we suddenly realized on the way there that we had brought everything…except tennis balls! A quick stop at the Piggly Wiggly—gotta love those down-south grocery store names—and we were on our way again.

I’m not really much of a planner—more of a spur-of-the-moment kind of person—but, I had planned to take Cooper, and his new “I’m-legal-at-the-beach” tag/collar, to the beach this morning on Sullivan’s Island. But poor Cooper woke us up at 4:30 a.m. needing to go outside…and it wasn’t pretty. So much for planning…

Cooper loves having houseguests stay with us, but, he doesn’t quite get it that he doesn’t have full access to the guest room when we have guests. Some changes . . .
Well, this two week experiment with the “Daily Cooper iPhone Photo” has left me with two observations:
1) Coming up with an interesting photo, and a story about Cooper to go with it, every day is not an easy thing; and,
2) I am finding myself starting to cringe at the bad image quality of the photos...
