Nuance Pet Photos Blog | Charleston SC Pet Photography bio picture

Hi, and welcome to my blog!

That's me (Els) on the right there. Granted, it's an image I took of my reflection in a window when I was 18. Let's just say that was quite some time ago, without getting into specifics ;)

I've been in love with photography over 25 years, but my day job has been as a freelance graphic designer, with my main focus being catalog, magazine, and book design and layout. I started Nuance Pet Photos as an endeavor to combine my background in graphic design with my love of animals and my passion for photography. So, here we are!

Oh, and the yellow lab you see everywhere on this blog? That's Cooper, my yellow lab, who was born in Southern California in October 2004. He's a true beach boy, who loves to play in the ocean, catch frisbees on the run, and chase squirrels out of his backyard. We moved from San Diego, CA, to Charleston, SC, in June of 2007, and despite the humidity and mosquitos, we love it here!

Thanks for visiting the blog. Cheers!

Blast from the Past Friday! 12.04.09

Welcome back for another installment of Blast from the Past Friday! As you may have noticed, last week there was no blog entry, so let’s get on with an extra long post this week to make up for last week’s missing post due to the Thanksgiving holiday.
First up, my faves of this week:
SCARVES! I am...
